How to Reheat Pounded Yam
You may have preserved your pounded yam or maybe prepared it and not eat it immediately. Now it is cold and you don’t like eating it cold. What do you do then?

Here are different methods for reheating pounded yam:
1. Microwave Method
Place the pounded yam in a microwave-safe bowl, add a tablespoon of water or milk to help retain moisture, cover with a microwave-safe lid or plastic wrap, and heat for about 30 to 45 seconds or until the desired temperature is reached
2. Stovetop Method
Place the pounded yam in a saucepan with a small amount of water or broth, heat over low-medium heat, stirring occasionally, and cover with a lid to retain moisture and heat evenly
3. Oven Method
Wrap the pounded yam in foil with a splash of water or milk and heat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes
4. Steaming Method
Place the pounded yam in a steamer basket and steam for 5-7 minutes or until heated through
5. Pan-Frying Method
Heat a pan with a small amount of oil over medium heat add the pounded yam and stir-fry for about 5 minutes or until heated through
